| Problem #3: | Air chirping sound coming from my PowerPlus engine. Sounds like it is coming through the carb. |
| Possible Solution: | Blown head gasket. Feel around head area while engine is running. If leak is in beginning stages it will be difficult to find. Cause may be due to not allowing engine to come up to temperature befor riding hard. |

| Problem #5: | Oil Leak on PowerPlus When I put the engine back in and re-assembled the bike I had re-routed the breather hose away from the air filter (where it dumped too much oil out the filter onto the primary) to the rear of the bike and put a filter on it. Soon after I was back on the road I noticed oil leaking out of a front rocker bolt and left side of the front and rear head gaskets but was unaware of the cause. This occasioned a phone call to the re-builder for a replacement set of gaskets. |
| Possible Solution: | I began to disassemble the bike and found the problem as soon as the tanks came off. When the right side gas tank was mounted and tightened down it pinched off the breather hose. Once corrected all three oil weeping / leaking issues went away. |
